Anyone would rationally agree with the statement “my service isn’t right for everyone.”
But our emotional mind takes over in one-off conversations that don’t go well. Even though we know we can’t help or click with everyone, it stings a bit when it happens face to face.
Not everyone will like us. Not everyone will click with us. That’s okay.
Now I’ll give myself some advice: next time you don’t click with someone, just remember the huge numbers of people you do click with. Remember how you’ve helped them, the impact you’ve made, and that there’s more of yourself to give, and people who want the help.
