Daily habits forever change the way our brains are wired. Being the person we want to be really comes down to behaving like the person we want to be. It starts with daily actions, choices, and ultimately habits that we build.
I’ve failed at most things I’ve started. My ambition is greater than my execution, yet here I am, committing once again. My commitment: publish daily.
I commit to you, Dear Reader, along to myself. While I am starting this commitment for myself, I will keep it going for you.
Committing is more about the bad days. Anyone can keep a commitment going on the good days, when inspiration fills the body like an errant lightning bolt. But the bad days that cast shadow on all those unlucky enough to share a room with us. Those are the days when commitments break.
“I’ll get to it tomorrow.”
“Just this one time.”
“I don’t feel like it.”
