Sometimes It Works, Sometimes It Doesn’t
Today wasn’t a shining example of my creativity or productivity.
Not every day can be a home run.
I was listening to a webinar where a VP of Sales talked about the evolution of his lead generation program. One thing that stood out is that he tested 31 different messages, and found that Template #19 outperformed everything else.
Some of the templates probably worked alright.
But others must’ve underperformed, even disappointed.
When I tell business owners that I come from an entrepreneurial family, they ask about the businesses my parents created. I say they started about 9 businesses, and 2 were fairly successful.
“That’s pretty good,” is the most common response.
Sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn’t.
Taking action and trying things is the best way to figure out what’s actually going to work, and do more of that.
